Hello Steven with etrailer.com here. Today we're gonna take a look at the Front Runner kayak roof rack with tie-downs saddle style. Now this kit's gonna come with four saddles, a couple straps, all your nuts, bolts, plastic caps to cover those nuts and your set of instructions. Now these four saddles are gonna let you transport one kayak or one sub whole side down onto your Front Runner track platform rack or crossbars. It's got a very nice easy grip handle knob here to loosen it so you can pivot this up or down once you gotta mount it. It is made of a very durable ABS plastic and also has a thick rubber on top of the saddle here to ensure the safety and the protection of your kayak or your sub.
Now these are rated to hold up to 88.2 pounds, so they're very durable, nice and beefy. The bolt size is gonna be M8 by 20. Per cradle, the dimension is gonna be seven and seven eight inches long, three and seven eight inches side to side, and seven and seven eight inches tall. So obviously if you flip it here, it's the same dimension and it's gonna have a three year warranty. It's a pretty good warranty and you're gonna have, like I said, the two load straps that you need to hold everything down and secure.
It's a pretty easy installation. They're gonna go on your crossbar top channels and the hardware will just secure 'em in place.
